Dunning Town Hall (which is its 'proper' name, although Dunning is now considered a village) is a Category C listed building dating from 1858.
Dunning was originally developed on a major crossroads linking Perth, Stirling and Kinross. It has significant archaeological features within the area and the Conservation Area designation reflects its historical significance. The village and surrounding area has a population of around 1,800 people of all ages, and a number of different nationalities. We're a tight-knit community, with a wide range of talents and interests from music to sport to business.
Who Are We?
Dunning Hall Group is a charity registered in Scotland (SC053780) - the SCIO was formed in November 2024. A formal 'Expression of Interest' for instigating a Community Asset Transfer was lodged with Perth & Kinross Council in March 2024. The initial Group was formed after 4 public meetings from volunteers within the Dunning Community Council (DCC) boundary, although we have no formal relationship with DCC.
